Position: Director of Christian Education (빛내리교회 교육사역원 담당목사)
- Position Description:
- The position is to serve as the full-time Director of Christian Education, overseeing the NextGen Ministry – a combined ministry serving the students of two churches (Binnerri Church and Lighthouse Church). Binnerri Church and Lighthouse Church will move their combined church campus from Richardson, TX, to McKinney, TX in Spring 2027.
- Scope of Ministry: Infants to Youth (also includes Special Needs Ministry)
- Organization: Reports to Binnerri Senior Pastor and Education Council (consisting of senior pastors and education elders of Binnerri & Lighthouse).
- Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead & Develop NextGen Ministry
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, equip, and train volunteers for NextGen
- Teaching & Coaching: Continuing education for teachers, volunteers, and staff.
- Build a strong, cohesive team with NextGen pastoral staff
- Programming: Coordinates Sunday School, Vacation Bible School (VBS), and special educational events (e.g., retreats & mission trips).
- Maintain communication channels and cooperation on educational matters with both Binnerri Church and Lighthouse Church.
- Build a communication plan with parents and students to ensure timely and accurate communication
- Curriculum & Planning: Selects, develops, and oversees age-appropriate curricula (infant to youth) that align with church doctrine (ECO Presbyterian)
- Administration: Manages the educational budget, maintains resources, and communicates program updates via newsletters and social media.
- Collaboration: Works with the Senior Pastors and Education Committee to set goals and align educational programs with the church's mission.
- Preaching (as needed)
- Leadership: Lead & Develop NextGen Ministry
- Qualifications:
- Ordained Minister
- Embodies Servant Leadership
- Demonstrates strong organizational and leadership skills
- Has Christian Education emphasis (preferred)
- Demonstrates thriving faith and passion for teaching
- 5+ years of experience in the education ministry
- Demonstrates cross-cultural competency; familiarity with Korean or Korean-American church contexts preferred.
- Is legally able to work within the United States
- Salary: $70,000 - $85,000 (dependent on experience)

- 커리큘럼 및 교육 기획: 교단 신학(ECO Presbyterian)에 부합하는 연령별(영아–청소년) 교육과정 선정·개발·감독
- 행정: 교육 예산 관리; 자료 및 리소스 관리; 뉴스레터 및 소셜미디어를 통한 사역 소통
- 협업: 담임목사 및 교육위원회와 협력하여 교회 비전에 부합하는 교육 목표 수립
- 설교: 필요 시 설교 사역 담당
- 리더십: 차세대 사역(NextGen Ministry) 총괄 및 비전 수립·개발
- 자격 요건:
- 안수받은 목사(Ordained Minister)
- 섬김의 리더십을 실천하는 자
- 뛰어난 조직력과 리더십 역량
- 기독교 교육 전공 또는 교육 사역 강조 배경 우대
- 성숙하고 역동적인 신앙과 가르침에 대한 열정
- 교육 사역 경력 5년 이상
- 다문화 이해 및 역량 보유 (한인 교회 경험 우대)
- 미국 내 합법적 근무 가능자
- 급여: $70,000 – $85,000 (경력에 따라 차등 지급)
