Emmanuel Presbyterian Church (“EPC”), is seeking a Youth Ministry Pastor (Full-time) who will join our church. EPC is located in the heart of Silicon Valley and belongs to the Korean American Presbyterian Church (KAPC).
 
Position Summary
Reports to Senior Pastor and the Session
Serves as a member of the pastoral team, along with the Education Department elder, Youth Ministry team (two other full-time youth pastors, coordinator, and ministry deacon), and ministers with other pastors in the Education Department, teachers, and parents. The youth ministry currently serves around 250-300 students. Specific role will be flexible depending on the candidate’s strengths and calling.
Full-time paid position with benefits. (Salary is commensurate with experience. Benefits include a housing allowance)

Job Description
Assist in organizing, leading, and preaching for Youth Ministry worship services (10 AM and 12 PM)
Create, develop and implement ministry curriculum along with the others youth pastor that will help teenagers grow as Christians
Coordinate events (retreat, mission, etc.) throughout the year
Recruit and train all ministry volunteers
Partner with parents by providing guidance, support, and care for them to raise their children in the Lord
Attend church events and weekly pastoral meetings
 
Qualification
Graduated from an accredited seminary (with a MDiv. or other degree) or scheduled to graduate in the Summer of 2024
2 years of educational ministry experience, preferred.
Legally able to work in the U.S.
Calling to nurture the next generation and support their families in the context of church
A godly character and values, to serve alongside other pastoral staff
Commitment to EPC’s beliefs, vision, and ministry philosophy
Fluent in English; awareness and competence in the Korean language and culture, preferred
