주요 역할 및 책임들
• 주일학교 예배와 행사의 기획 / 준비 / 인도 (대부분 유초등부 사역에 집중하지만 영유아 / 유치부 사역도 담당)
• 주일학교 (영유아 - 유초등부) 교육 커리큘럼 / 교재 선택 및 개발
• 주일학교 교사 및 자원봉사자 모집 / 훈련 / 감독
• 유초등부를 위한 제자훈련의 계획과 인도
• 학생들과 교사들을 위한 심방 (필요와 요구에 따라)
• 어린이 사역을 위한 예산계획 및 집행
• 사역자 / 스태프 회의 참여
• 주일학교 스태프, 봉사자, 학부모들과 좋은 관계 및 소통유지
• 주일학교 (영유아부 - 유초등부) 사역과 관계된 일들에 대한 적절한 감독 

자격 요건
• 어린이 사역에 대한 열정 또는 어린이들을 사랑하는 마음
• 사역을 위한 유창한 영어 구사 능력
• 목회자, 집사, 학부모들과의 협력 의지
• 한인 이민교회의 배경에서 어린이 사역의 경험 선호
• 목회학 석사(M. div) 선호, 또는 그에 준하는 학위 (재학생 / 졸업예정자 지원가능) 
• 남침례교단 및 남침례교단 신학교 배경 선호

Seeking Children’s Ministry Pastor

Position (Full-time or Part-time)
Global Mission Church of Greater Washington seeks English Children’s Ministry Pastor (infants to elementary 5th graders).

Key Responsibilities
• To plan, prepare and lead ministry worship services and events (may focus on elementary worship predominantly with supervision for preschoolers)
• To select and/or develop curriculum for all age-appropriate ministry education programs
• To enlist, train, and oversee teachers and volunteers.
• To plan and conduct an age-appropriate discipleship training for children
• To conduct home visitation for children and teachers as necessary and appropriate
• To develop and present the ministry’s budget
• To participate in pastoral staff meetings
• To maintain good relationships with staff, volunteers, and parents
• To oversee miscellaneous ministry related events as appropriate

Qualifications
• A heart for children ministry or love for children
• Proficiency in English
• Willing to work with pastors, deacons, and parents
• Prior children’s ministry experience (preferably in a Korean-American church context)
• M. Div. degree (not required, but preferred or degree candidate also acceptable)
• Southern Baptist background and seminary (not required, but preferred)

Compensation
Salary (negotiable based on qualifications and experiences with base starting at approximately $50k for full-time or $35k for part-time a year) + Benefits (e.g., Health Insurance, Pension, Gas & Phone stipends, etc.)
