Praise English Ministry is seeking an innovative and vibrant pastor to join our staff in order to help nurture, teach, and equip the next generation of worshipers for His Kingdom! We have seen consistent growth in our 8 years of existence driven largely through our thriving children's ministry. We also have a loving and supportive group of parents who desire to see our children become lasting faith partners in our families and schools.
Location:
• 15 Cedar Grove Lane, Somerset, NJ 08873
Compensation (will increase every year at PEM):
• Half-time: $2,500/month cash, continuing education, technology, and ministry fund
• Part-time: $1,600/month cash and ministry fund
Qualifications:
• Master's Degree from an accredited theological seminary (or pursuing if part-time)
• Passionate calling for Children’s Ministry
• Great communicator and displays organizational leadership
Part-time Ministry Responsibilities:
• Prepare and lead the PEMkids' ministry in accordance with the vision of PEM
• Work alongside the PEM pastors and attend weekly staff meetings
• Organize thoughtful worship experiences for children on Sundays, which includes engaging preaching, small group preparation, and post-fellowship activities
• Recruit and train volunteers to assist in the ministry
• Plan and lead major PEMkids events, such as retreats, VBS, and joint family worship
Half-time Ministry Responsibilities (in addition to part-time responsibilities):
• Build caring relationships with parents/families through visitations and by maintaining constant communication regarding updates and feedback
• Plan and lead additional monthly family events, service projects, outreach opportunities, etc., to facilitate fellowship and missional care for our community
