교회/교육부 소개:
올바니 한인 장로교회는 뉴욕주 스케넥터디 (Schenectady)에 1971년 설립된 교회입니다. 현재 주일 학교에는40여명의 중고등학생, 20여명의 유년주일학생 (1학년-5학년), 20 여명의 유치원생과 유아들이 있습니다. 이들을 교육하고 돌볼수 있는 복음적이고 열정적인 교역자를 청빙하고자 합니다.

교역자 책임/직무:
1) 중 고등부, 유년, 유치 및 유아부 담당 교사들과 함께 각 학생을 예수님의 제자로 삼는 교회학교의 목표를 성취하는 일에 있어서 영적 리더의 역할을 담당
2) 매주 중 고등부 및 유년부 학생들을 위한 설교를 담당
3) 유치 및 유아들을 위한 설교는 매주 담당하지 않아도 되나, 담당교사를 위한 설교 지도 및 특별 설교 요청시 이를 담당
4) 중 고등부, 유년, 유치 및 유아부를 위한 교육 교재를 선정하고 교사들의 지도 및 훈련을 담당
5) 중 고등부, 유년, 유치 및 유아부를 위한 활동 및 프로그램을 기획하고 이를 위해 교사 및 보조교사들을 지도하고 훈련 (예, 여름성경학교, 중고등부 부흥회 등)
6) 학부모회 등에서 새롭게 제안된 특별 프로그램을 검토하고, 수행시 이를 기획, 관리 감독
7) 담임목사의 지도를 따라 교회 전반적인 활동과 계획에 참여
8) 주일 설교는 영어로 진행되나, 교사와 학부모들간의 협력을 위하여 한국어 소통능력이 어느 정도 요구됨
9) 교회와 관련한 추가 업무가 주어질 수 있음

자격요건:
1) 정규 신학교 졸업생
2) 1년 이상 중 고등부 또는 유년주일학교 (유아, 유치 및 유년) 사역 경험자
3) 유창한 영어 설교 능력을 갖춘 자, 한국어 이중언어 가능자 우대

Job Title: Education Pastor

Job Background:
The Korean Presbyterian Church of Albany in Schenectady, NY was founded in 1971. We have 40+ youth students,
20+ elementary students, 20+ kindergarten (3 to 5 year old) and pre-kinder (2 year old). We are looking for an
energetic and full gospel pastor to lead the growing Youth, Elementary, Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder ministry.

Job Description:
1) This candidate will lead and work with the team of Youth, Elementary, Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder teachers
toward our goal of making each student a good follower of Jesus.
2) Lead the Youth and Elementary student Sunday service and deliver sermon to Youth and Elementary students.
3) Deliverance of sermon to Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder is not required, however, the guidance and training of
sermon deliverance will be required if Kindergarten and Pre-K teachers ask for it.
4) Select the Bible study material for Youth, Elementary, Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder group and provide the
teaching guideline and training to the teachers.
5) This candidate will plan and lead all Youth, Elementary, Kindergarten and Pre-Kinder group activity and program
(i.e. Vacation Bible School, Youth Revival, etc.) and coordinate with teachers and PTA (Parent Teacher
Association).
6) Coordinate and lead any special activity or program that is proposed by Youth, Elementary, Kindergarten PTA.
7) Follow the direction of Senior Pastor of the Church for all church related activities.
8) Sermon will be delivered in English, but some coordination with teachers and parents will be required in Korean.
Fluent English is a mandatory requirement, and conversational Korean is preferred to communicate with PTA
9) May be required to involve other church related works

Job Requirement:
1) Has graduated from a recognized theological seminary
2) Has a minimum one year experience of leading Youth, Elementary ministry.
3) Sermon will be delivered in English, however, some coordination with teachers and parents will be required in
Korean. Therefore, fluent English is a requirement and English/Korean bi-lingual is preferred.

Compensation: Compensation based on PCUSA guideline, a family health insurance, pension, housing allowance and
other benefits will be provided.
