The Connect Church of NC is seeking a Children’s Pastor (Part-Time)

About Us:
The Connect Church of Cary, NC (Southern Baptist Convention; http://www.theconnectnc.church) began in August 2016, to connect all people to Jesus Christ for God’s glory. Our mission is to reach the next generation and those who do not know Christ and make disciples that build His kingdom. We are mostly of 1st and 2nd-generation Koreans from across the RTP area. Our Korean and English-speaking ministries cooperate as a Korean-based multi-generational and multi-cultural church.

Position Description:
We are looking for a Children’s Pastor who will oversee and lead our Pre-K to 5th Graders to Christ and develop them as disciples. Also, we seek someone who can help build a family-equipping ministry alongside the children’s ministry of our church with the support of our lead pastors, staff, and church leaders. We have a warm and supportive pastoral staff and church leadership, a dynamic environment as a growing church, and are praying for someone who will be a good fit for where we see the Lord leading us.

Desired Qualities:
Motivation: A loving heart and God-given passion for kids & Have God’s calling to ministry
Education: Seminary Student or Graduate (MDiv or MA).
Conviction: Faith that agrees with Baptist Faith and Message 2000

Primary Expectations:
Oversee and Lead in Kids ministry through worship, Education, Fellowship, and missions
Annual Kids ministry program planning, executing, and reviewing
Preferably, have an idea for Family Ministry.

Pre-K에서 5학년 어린이들이 예수님 안에서 자라나 제자로 성장할 수 있도록 도와주실 어린이부 사역자를 찾습니다. 전도사님은 어린이부 사역과 더불어 교회 목회자들, 교회 재직과 리더들과 함께 가정을 세우는 사역을 돕게 됩니다. 우리 교회는 따뜻한 마음으로 지지해 주시는 목회자들과 리더들로 구성되어 있고, 성장하는 교회로서 역동적인 분위기를 느낄 수 있으며, 이런 교회에 꼭맞는 전도사님을 저희에게 인도하시길 주님께 기도하고 있습니다.

지원자격:
동기: 어린이에 대한 사랑과 복음을 향한 열정, 그리고 하나님의 사역에 대한 소명이 있으신 분
학력: 신학교 재학생이거나 졸업생이신 분 (MDiv 또는 MA 학위)
믿음: 남침례교단의 신학에 동의하고 따르실 분 (침례교 믿음과 메시지 2000)

사역 내용:
어린이 예배, 성경공부, 교제, 사역, 선교등을 인도함, 성경공부 Curriculum 인도
1년 중 어린이 사역 프로그램 계획, 진행, 평가 등.
Family Ministry를 이해하고 함께 협력 사역
