Job Title: Part-Time PreK Children’s Pastor (Ages 0 to Kindergarten)

Position Overview: The Part-Time Children’s Pastor for ages 0 to Kindergarten is responsible for leading and nurturing the spiritual growth of children from birth through Kindergarten. This role includes developing and implementing age-appropriate programs, teaching biblical principles, and creating a safe and engaging environment for young children to learn about God. The Children’s Pastor will work closely with volunteers, parents, and other ministry leaders to support the overall mission and vision of the church.

Working Hours: This is a part-time position, requiring approximately 12-15 hours per week; including Saturday and Sunday and some weekday hours for planning and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, prepare, and lead the children’s services
• Plan and oversee weekly Sunday school classes and nursery care
• Recruit, train and support teachers and volunteers
• Communicate regularly with parents
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, volunteer schedules, and program materials.
• Manage the ministry budget
• Provide pastoral care and support to young children and their families as needed.
• Participate in church-wide events as needed

Qualifications:
• Clear calling to Children’s Ministry
• Bi-lingual in Korean and English
• M.Div. degree (or equivalent)
• Experience working with young children in a church, educational, or childcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with church staff and ministry leaders.
• Southern Baptist background and seminary preferred
