응시자격 

본 총회직영 신학교 및 총회가 인준한 정규 신학교 M.Div 학위를 졸업하였거나 2023년 6월 30일(30일 포함) 졸업 예정자로 개혁주의 신앙의 투철한 무흠입교인으로서 확실한 소명과 영적지도력을 가진 분.

고시과목

a) 필기고시: (1)교회사 (2)조직신학 (3)미국장로교회사 (4)헌법 (이상4과목)

b) 제출고시: (1)구약주해 (2) 신약주해 (3)논문 (4)설교원고 (이상4편)

제출고시 내용

- 구약주해: 이사야 52:13 – 53:12

- 신약주해: 히브리서 10:19 - 25

- 논문제목: 포스트 펜대믹의 개혁주의 교회론을 논하라 – 메타버스와 성찬

- 설교본문: 구약 – 아모스 8:11-14,  신약 – 딤후 4:1-5  

제출고시과목에 대한 규칙

표절은 절대 용인되지 않습니다. 주해 및 논문은 아래 지침에 따라 작성하되, 한 부는 인쇄하여 제출하고, 한 부는 Pdf파일로 서기에게 이메일로 보내야 합니다.

 - 레터(8-1/2 X 11) 용지를 사용할 것.

 - 폰트 사이즈는 11이며, 줄간격은 180%, 여백은 1인치 페이지 번호 포함 할 것.(영문 Times New Roman 12사이즈이며 Double Space)

 - 논문과 주해는 각각25매 내외로 작성(표지와 참고서적 제외)하며, 설교 원고는 30분 분량의 원고(10매 정도).

 - 논문과 주해는 논문 작성 원칙에 따를 것이며, 인용구는 각주를 사용하고 참고서적을 꼭 포함할 것.

 - Pdf 파일을 보낼 때에는 이메일 제목에 본인이름을 넣고, 파일 이름도 본인 이름 및 과목 주제이름을 사용할 것. (예: 손기성구약주해.pdf)

c) 면접고시 

서류제출방법

a) 모든 응시서류 및 제출고시 과목 원고는 2023년 3월 31일까지 제출해야 함. 2023년 3월31일자 우체국 소인이 찍힌 것은 유효함. 그 이후는 접수하지 않음.

b) 접수된 서류는 일체 반환하지 않음.

c) 합격자 발표는 47회 총회기간(5월23일 - 26일) 중에 총회 석상에서 합격자 발표와 증서를 수여함.

참고사항 

a) 고시생은 고시부 서기 박희근목사에게 연락하여 시험기간(5/22,23일) 사용할 숙소를 예약 할 것.

b) 고시당일 노트북 컴퓨터를 사용하여 고시를 볼 수 있으나 아래 사항을 준수할 것.

 - Word Process 이외의 모든 프로그램은 고시장소에 입실하기 전 지울 것.

 - 시험 중 화면을 바꾸지 말 것. 허락없이 화면을 바꾸는 경우 퇴장 당할 수 있음.

 - 프린터는 제공되지 않으므로 본인이 준비할 것.

“Pastoral Ordination Candidacy Qualification and Exams,”

which will be offered in May of 2023.

The following information is regarding the “Pastoral Ordination Candidacy Qualification and Exams,” which will be offered in May of 2023.

Those who wish to become candidates are encouraged to send in all the necessary documents to begin the process. Those who prefer the use of English may submit all documents and take exams in English.

1. Candidacy Qualification

The applicant must be a M. Div graduate (or expected to graduate through June 30 of 2023) of a seminary (acknowledged) by KAPC.

He must have a clear confession in the tradition of the Reformed Faith; he also should be a Christian in good standing in a local church with a clear sense of calling into ministry, and with a recognized gift in leadership.

(5) Instructions for the written assignments :

* Plagiarism will not be tolerated.

You must submit one hard copy and email a PDF file of each written assignment according to the following regulations:

ⓐ Use 8-1/2" by 11" letter size papers.

ⓑ Use 12-point font (Times New Roman), 1-inch margins, double space, use page numbering, proper footnoting, and include bibliography.

ⓒ Both thesis and exegesis papers should be about 25 pages each in length excluding title page and bibliography. The length of the sermon text should correspond to 30 minutes of actual preaching time.

ⓓ Use a common academic writing format, and all quotes, and cited information must accompany proper references (i. e. footnotes or endnotes).

ⓔ All PDF files must be emailed to euihan@hotmail.com with the following instructions:

① The subject line must include your name

② File attachments must include your name and assignment title.(Ex. KisungSon-OTExegesisPaper.pdf)

4. Accompanying Documents

a) A copy of the certificate of graduation of Bachelor & M. Div. degree or a letter from the registrar (or the president of a seminary) certifying that the candidate is expected to graduate through June 30 of 2023.

b) An official copy of transcript for the whole M. Div. program.

c) A letter of recommendation from the moderator of a Presbytery that the candidate is under care.

d) An official letter from a Presbytery (issued by the clerk) confirming that the candidate under care is in good standing.

e) Curriculum Vita (CV) including a clear history of faith (For example, the year of baptism, the name of the church where the baptism was given and the name of the officiating minister, etc.)

f) Two passport-size photos of the candidate.

g) Fee: $100 (USD). Notice after receipt

5. Instructions for Documents and Written Assignments Submission

a) All required documents and written assignments must be submitted by March 31, 2023. (Packages post-marked before March 31, 2023 are valid. No late submissions will be accepted.)

b) The candidates will not receive back the submitted documents and assignments.

c) The results of the exam will be announced during the 47th meeting of the General Assembly (May 23-26, 2023). The candidates who successfully sustain the examination process will be announced on the floor and will be given Ordination Candidate Qualification Certificates.

6. Miscellaneous Information

a) Candidates must reserve rooms appropriately for the dates of exam (May 22-23, 2023) through Rev. David H. Park

b) Candidates may use personal notebook computers for written exams, but the following conditions must be met :

(1) The personal notebook must contain only a Word Processing program.

(2) The screen is not to be changed during an exam. Violators will not be tolerated and will result in dismissal from the examination room.

(3) One must bring his own printer. Any mechanical problems will not constitute a valid excuse for failing to submit the exam on time.
