Seeking a Youth Pastor

Lakeview Covenant Church is seeking a FULL-TIME or HALF-TIME Youth Pastor to shepherd our youth group students. We are specifically looking for a candidate who will do the ministry in English, but bilingual is preferred (e.g. Korean). We welcome all applicants who are either Biblically trained, or presently being trained in a seminary or Bible college institution. They must have a heart to lead and develop leaders for God’s Kingdom. The bulk of ministry would happen on Fridays and Sundays (excluding church retreats and other events).

Responsibilities would include:
• Overall shepherding for the youth group (about 60-70 students)
• Discipling them, along with the teachers
• Organizing events and activities (retreats, missions, events, etc.)
• Leading worship (twice on Sundays) for the youth
• Preaching occasionally in the EC
• Attending weekly staff meetings for accountability

*Description and Benefits
Capacity: FULL-TIME (45-47 hours per week)
Salary: $60,000 / year
Visitation and Gas: $2000
Continuing Education: $1000 / year
Also includes Health Insurance and Pension

Capacity: HALF-TIME (30 hours per week)
Salary: $36,000 / year
Visitation & Gas: $1000 / year
Continuing Education: $500 / year
