The First United Methodist Church (FUMC) in Flushing, NY is seeking a Youth Director or Pastor to serve half-time/full-time in the Youth Ministry (6th-12th grade).

Summary of Responsibilities:
Support discipleship, worship, and mission initiatives, which includes but is not limited to leading bible studies, training and coaching youth leaders, and organizing/coordinating student events.
Preaching rotation is optional depending on the candidate's sense of calling.
Manage finances and communication.
Meet other ministry needs in partnership with the Lead Pastor

Qualifications:
Follower of Jesus Christ who has a heart for youth.
Fluency in English is required. Conversational Korean ability is a plus.
We prefer someone who is currently enrolled in or has graduated from an accredited theological seminary.
