About First Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando
The First Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando has over 100 registered adult members, about 10 children in the Sunday school, 20 youths in the youth group and approximately 30-40 snowbirds that attend during the winter months. The First Korean Presbyterian Church of Orlando was established twenty-six years ago based on Westminster Confession of Faith, Larger and Shorter Catechisms (1647) and the church was originally affiliated with the Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (KPCA). We are part of Korean Presbyterian Church Abroad (“KPCA”) that is governed by a session, composed of the minister(s) and ruling elder(s). The session administers the affairs and discipline of the church. Congregations approve or disapprove sessional recommendations such as extending calls to ministers and church budgets.
We are one of the few Korean churches in Orlando area that offers English translation during the main Sunday service. On any typical Sunday, we have 11 am main service, followed by member fellowship over lunch. Currently English service is held at 12:30 pm at the main sanctuary.
